Connect Video Performance Pro to Paddle

Connect Paddle

  1. In Video Performance Pro, go to Settings → Sales, open Choose a checkout under your site and pick Paddle. The steps below fill in its boxes.
  2. In Paddle, go to Developer tools, Authentication, API keys, and click New API key.
  3. Name it Video Performance Pro. Allow writing notification settings, and reading customers and addresses.
  4. Leave the expiry date empty.With a date set, the key stops working on that day, and so does tracking.
  5. Save, and copy the key into API key.
  6. A checkout Paddle.js opens on a page with your tracking code carries the video by itself. A transaction your server creates doesn't: give it with set to from the page.

Link a video straight to checkout

Not possible with Paddle: its checkout links can't carry the video's code. Link the video to a page with the tracking code, such as your sales or product page, and the sale is matched from there.

Check it worked

Settings → Sales shows Waiting for first sale until Paddle sends its first event, then Tracking sales.
