Connect Video Performance Pro to Hotmart

Connect Hotmart

  1. In Video Performance Pro, go to Settings → Sales, open Choose a checkout under your site and pick Hotmart. The steps below fill in its boxes.
  2. In Hotmart, open Tools and choose Webhook (API and notifications).Not listed? Click Show all first.
  3. On the Authentication tab, copy your Hottok into Hottok.
  4. Click Register Webhook, name it Video Performance Pro, and apply it to all your products.
  5. Copy the Webhook address into URL for sending data, and keep version .
  6. Tick approved, complete, refunded and chargeback purchases, and save.

Link a video straight to checkout

The link is your Hotmart checkout page with the video's code added as , which Hotmart hands back with the sale. Sales from these links count. Clicks don't, because the tracking code can't run on Hotmart's page.

  1. In Settings → Sales, add your Hotmart checkout page under Checkout links.
  2. Make a link to it on the Links page, and put that in your video's description.

Check it worked

Settings → Sales shows Waiting for first sale until Hotmart sends its first event, then Tracking sales. Hotmart's Test button on the webhook sends one straight away.
